Since the late 1990s, Getfused has partnered with the Patriots organization to build and evolve their digital presence. From eCommerce platforms to custom content management systems to fan loyalty programs, Getfused supported the team through six Super Bowl championships and beyond. 

As the Patriots’ success grew, so did the demands on their digital infrastructure. The organization produces more content than any other NFL team in the country, requiring a platform that could handle massive traffic spikes during championships while delivering dynamic, real-time content to millions of fans. Their eCommerce, web presence, and fan engagement tools all needed to perform at the same level of excellence the team delivers on the field.

Our partnership began during the Patriots’ first Super Bowl run when their eCommerce system couldn’t keep up with demand. We quickly optimized their systems to handle championship-level traffic, then developed a long-term strategy to build platforms that could scale with the organization’s growth. We focused on creating custom solutions that matched the unique content volume and fan engagement needs of one of the NFL’s most active digital operations.

Custom Platforms Built for Champions

We built ProShop.Patriots.com from the ground up, creating an eCommerce experience that could handle the surge of fans rushing to gear up after big wins. From there, we developed www.patriots.com with a custom content management system unlike anything else in the league; one that dynamically adjusted content caching to support live streaming alongside scheduled content, all backed by a robust CDN infrastructure. The Patriots were one of the last teams to transition to the NFL Network platform specifically because of the sophisticated content requirements we had built for them.

Fan Loyalty and Ongoing Partnership

Beyond the core digital platforms, we developed Patriots 365, a comprehensive loyalty program fully integrated with partners including Uber, Ticketmaster, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Visa, giving fans new ways to connect with the team they love. We also built solutions for Gillette Stadium and the organization’s family of companies. Through six Super Bowl victories, we supported web content delivery, eCommerce performance, and fan engagement, ensuring the digital experience matched the on-field excellence. Our relationship with the Patriots organization remains ongoing; a testament to a partnership built on trust, performance, and shared commitment to being the best.
